One of the main and most effective training strategies for KZF is through direct supervision of employees. We build strong relationships between supervisors and employees. A supervisor’s knowledge and guidance benefit the entire staff and our clients.
Our employees have the opportunity to share ideas and learn from one another through inner-office training sessions. Our educational programs includes thought leadership presentations, site visits and opportunities to attend conferences, business meetings and other office happenings.
In addition to inner-office training, our employees take advantage of education opportunities outside the office and allow staff to get involved with professional organizations outside of work. KZF currently takes part in several local education programs, including AIA Cincinnati’s VISION program.
Licensing is a significant milestone for all design staff. We work with our employees to create a clear path to obtaining licensure and encourage all employees to seek professional registration in their area of education and expertise. We often cover costs related to study materials and examination fees.
We have memberships with a number of professional organizations that provide our employees access to industry-specific events, training and knowledge. We encourage active involvement by individuals in their professional societies that are aligned with their career aspirations.
For those employees interested in heading back to the literal classroom, we offer a competitive tuition reimbursement program for undergraduate, graduate, English-as a-second-language, and technical courses related to their careers.
