The Client Development specialist should have knowledge of the regional private development sector and the challenges and opportunities presented by working within this network. They should have the initiative and ability to inspire confidence in clients by being a credible and knowledgeable professional. He or she must display strong organizational skills as well as clear and concise communication skills. They are a ‘concierge,’ a facilitator, a person who acts with urgency, meets deadlines and delivers on promises.
This person is a connected networker who knows how to hunt for good clients and good projects. He or she can foster a sense of camaraderie and high morale with integrity and capability. The Client Development specialist is a proactive and motivated person, who brings solutions to every situation, and is willing and able to take the lead when asked and achieve positive results and outcomes.
The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, client-centered and open-minded and has experience either as a technical or service marketing professional, in either the local A/E, construction, real estate or development industries.
