KZF Design and American Modern Insurance Group (AMIG) are celebrating the newly-renovated Customer Service Operations floor at its Amelia, Ohio campus. The $1.8M upgrade encompasses 30,385 SF of space, designed with sustainability and employee wellness in mind. “It was our priority to design a more vibrant and collaborative workspace” — Dara Baldridge, Director of Design, KZF The project, which began in April 2017, features sit-to-stand workstations, circadian lighting, daylight and views and support areas such as an outdoor patio and resource zones designated for associates to focus on career development and academic advancement. This combination of communal and private spaces enables the American Modern team to perform diverse types of work, while keeping a competitive edge and increasing workplace happiness. “This revitalization represents our continued investment and commitment to our people and to our customers,” stated Andreas Kleiner, President and CEO of American Modern. “We’re fortunate to have a wealth of talented, customer-focused associates. The redesign takes inspiration from American Modern’s culture of innovation and customer experience transformation strategy. The Customer Service division consists of nearly 200 employees and handles an average of 4,500 calls per day from policyholders and agents across the country.
