22 May May 22, 2017 by Eric Anderson in Commercial/Industrial, News On Friday, May 19, KZF Design, Paul Hemmer Co. and the Northern Kentucky Health Department broke ground on their new, $5M, 40,000 SF headquarters. The design/build team is helping consolidate 95 of the Health Department’s 150 employees from around Northern Kentucky to make healthcare more accessible to the growing populations of Boone and Grant counties. This headquarters facility will bring staff providing district-wide services together in a single location. A combined location will create a more cohesive and collaborative working environment between programs that need to work together, increase efficiency and reduce costs due to travel and off-site storage. The new headquarters will include the office of the district director of health, administrative staff, clinical services administration, environmental health and safety and population health.
