The plan embodies Ashland’s motto of “A proud past. A bright future.” by blending contemporary riverfront design with historic buildings and archeological sites. Unique water walls on the city-side of the flood wall will be commissioned by local artists to provide a unique alternative to painted murals. KZF then assisted the city in implementing the plan and providing services, including design aesthetics and various work session meetings with the city commissioners and engineering staff.
