A decades-old flooding problem is successfully resolved with coordination between civil engineers, city agencies, and property owners.

Project Type: Roadway Rehabilitation
Client: City of Bellevue, Kentucky
Construction Cost: $1,400,000
Length: 650 LF

KZF Design provided civil engineering services for the replacement of approximately 650 LF of concrete pavement with new concrete pavement, curb and gutter, and new 5′ sidewalk. The project routed storm drainage in a new 48” concrete pipe to channel storm water runoff away from area residences, and improved street drainage that included the implementation of green infrastructure. Through detailed client meetings, KZF was able to develop a successful design that met the needs of the City of Bellevue, the residents of the community, the Sanitation District #1 of Northern Kentucky, and the Northern Kentucky Water District.
