KZF Design chosen as Architect of Record for new UC College of Business building

KZF Design has been selected to serve as the Architect of Record for the new College of Business building at University of Cincinnati’s Uptown West Campus.

The University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business continues to gain renown for its excellence in both graduate and undergraduate programs, resulting in continuing expansive growth in enrollment. This growth in enrollment, combined with the age of the current building, has resulted in the University’s desire to construct a new, 250,000 SF state-of-the-art business school facility. Estimated to cost $100M, this new facility promises to provide a cutting-edge environment in which to further the teaching, research and service mission of the Lindner College.

KZF Design will collaborate with internationally-recognized Design Architect Henning Larsen Architects of New York. This building will contribute to the campus environment that Forbes named among the “World’s Most Beautiful College Campuses.” The new College of Business will take its place among several the University’s landmark structures and now-iconic buildings, such as the Campus Recreation Center, College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, and Engineering Research Center.

“KZF Design is very pleased and proud to have been chosen for this exciting project,” says Douglas Marsh, Senior Vice President at KZF and Project Manager for the new College of Business building. “Our design staff are eager to begin working with Henning Larsen Architects to turn what is now just a vision into a tangible reality, a world-class facility which will continue to raise the prestige and profile of the College and the University.” KZF has enjoyed a working relationship with the University of Cincinnati which spans decades.
