KZF and USGBC Ohio – Southwest Region are kicking off the roll-out of LEED v4 with a month of education activities!
As the US Green Building Council transitions to LEED v4, KZF is working with the USGBC Ohio – Southwest Region on activities throughout the month. KZF will be hosting a LEED Green Associate v4 “Bootcamp” on October 24 in our offices from 1-4:30PM.
Green Associate is the introductory-level credential for LEED, and demonstrates a general understanding of all the LEED rating systems. The Green Associate Bootcamp course will provide an introduction to green building and sustainable design principles, specifically as they relate to USGBC’s LEED green building rating system. It prepares individuals to pass the LEED Green Associate exam on the first try, and is the first step in becoming a LEED professional. This course is fully updated for the LEED v4 rating system! The Seminar Series is meant more for LEED APs and outlines the changes between the old and new rating systems.
Other activities occurring thoroughout month of October include:
- USGBC Monthly Luncheon – 10/18 at Montgomery Inn
- LEED v4 Homes Seminar Series
- Commercial LEED v4 (BD+C) Seminar Series
