KZF Promotes New Government Group Leader
KZF Design today announced Gregory Hutzel, RA, NCARB, PMP, LEED AP BD+C, has been promoted to Director of Government Group.
Greg has been working within KZF’s Government Group for the past year as Project Manager. He is a Registered Architect with 24 years of experience has managed projects and designed facilities for Department of Defense agencies and NASA throughout the U.S. Greg is currently managing the new Hamilton County Coroner & Crime Lab Facility and projects at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton.
Additionally, Greg is one of the founding members of the USGBC Cincinnati Chapter and a LEED AP. Greg has been a leader in the design of sustainable buildings, having successfully led many project teams through the LEED certification process. He is a graduate of the Architecture program at the University of Cincinnati.
Greg is certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP), an internationally recognized professional designation which attests to their high level of skill and experience leading and directing project teams and staff.
In this new role, Greg will lead KZF’s federal, state and local government market segment within the firm, creating places that promote safety and security for government agencies. He understands how to marry resourceful design selections with quality control procedures to meet complex regulations and make the most of limited resources.
Greg’s promotion to Director of Government Group is an important part in the firm’s multiyear leadership and shareholder transition strategy, focusing on the next generation of designers and leaders that will keep the firm’s ownership in Cincinnati and in the control of those who manage the company.
