KZF and IDI/Gazeley conclude construction of UGN’s 200,000 SF manufacturing facility

KZF Design welcomes UGN, an automotive industry supplier, to their new manufacturing plant in Monroe, Ohio. KZF proudly served as the architect and structural engineer of record on the project developed by IDI/Gazeley and constructed by Paul Hemmer Companies.

The project totals 206,400 SF, including 18,000 SF of office and nearly 190,000 SF of manufacturing space, with room for an additional 150,000 SF of future expansion. UGN officials were drawn to Monroe stating, “Proximity to our customers is one of the keys” and required the facility and site be more than a basic, speculative-type development. KZF worked with UGN and IDI/Gazeley closely to come up with a layout and fresh elevations that challenged the typical solutions, while staying within a budget. The final outcome includes a water feature and a unique facade design that was to be representative of UGN.

KZF’s experience with commercial/industrial projects spans our entire 58 year history. Over the past 10 years we have completed well over 5,000,000 SF of industrial space in the Tri-state area alone, ranging in size from 10,000 SF to nearly 1,000,000 SF.

Put our industrial experience to work for you!
