KZF worked with the Warren County and the City of Mason to improve an old two-lane rural roadway to a new three-lane, urban design with sidewalks and bicycle side path. The project represents a key link in the Warren County transportation network, and included funding from ODOT – Local Project Agency program. The project involved a complete realignment – both horizontal and vertical – of the old roadway to meet current geometric standards, provide improved sight distance and eliminate a dangerous W-curve. The project involved complete pavement replacement and subgrade improvements to provide improved sustainability of the future roadway.
