KZF provided architecture, interior design, structural engineering and MEP performance criteria for the new, 65,000 SF headquarters for Hamilton Caster, a world-renowned expert in industrial casters, wheels, and carts. The new state-of-the-art facility includes both manufacturing and 14,000 SF of office space for the 100+ year old company. The building will house fiber lasers, robotic welders, CNC-Machines, and a state-of-the-art powder paint system as well as further office space. This project will allow for greater workflow efficiency for the company, which has already begun to hire additional staff to meet the increasing demand for its products.
KZF first worked with Hamilton Caster to develop a master plan for the development, which sits on the former site of the Hamilton Inn, a property which had become a nuisance and a source of blight in the Jefferson neighborhood in Hamilton, Ohio.
The building has been designed to be modern and innovative to be representative of the innovation in Hamilton Caster’s brand and products. This is sown through special design details and reveals in the tilt-up wall panels and façade of the building.
