KZF provided architecture and engineering services, as part of a design/build team, for a new justice center facility. The six-story center contains 10 court rooms and associated holding facilities, with two courtrooms per floor. Support spaces include public waiting space and judges’ chambers. Lower floors of the building house agencies that also have a high volume of visitor traffic, including a drivers’ license branch. A new 1,600-car parking garage, which serves the justice center, nearby Northern Kentucky Convention Center and the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK) was also included as part of the facility.
