Major expansion drives growth in manufacturing and customer service – and serves as investment in Northern Kentucky job market.
KZF provided architectural, structural, and civil engineering services for a complex, multi-phased expansion project at a local machining manufacturing facility. The project included nine phases totaling 97,000 SF. Many of the phases were consecutive, with each one sequentially packaged to allow existing operations to continue with minimal impact. Expansion areas included assembly and fabrication areas, offices and accessory areas, and shipping and receiving functions. KZF worked very closely with the contractor to define the phases and scope necessary for each, as well as issue multiple documents packages to expedite permitting and construction to minimize the overall project schedule.
