KZF (as part of a JV) provided arcitecture and engineering services for the design and construction of the new 50-person station and garage in Pembina, ND. The border patrol station has multiple uses that include providing office space, detainee processing and holding areas, training facilities and storage for agents’ gear and arms. The general design uses principles similar to those used in civilian office buildings and medium-security detention facilities. The facility was also designed to accommodate Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection requirements.
