As part of a joint venture, KZF Design provided full architecture and engineering design for a multi-phased renovation and new design project for the $83M, three-story renovation and addition of the US TRANSCOM administration facilities. Scope of work for the 215,000 SF building included approximately 614 work stations, design of all utilities, mechanical rooms, fire protection, Secure Compartment Information Facility Storage (SCIFS) vault, adequate parking, lighting, sidewalks and pedestrian access. Facility features required DoD Antiterrorism/Force Protection requirements.
