KZF Design provided criteria architect design services for the reconstruction of north the north and south Interstate 71 rest areas near the Jeremiah Morrow Bridge in Warren County. Work included construction of new prototype rest area service buildings, picnic areas, new pull through truck parking lots, passenger car parking lots, drives and associated connections to the highway ramps, and sidewalks. Site improvements will include storm sewers and underdrains, utilities for the buildings, and site lighting. KZF was then asked by OFCC and ODOT to provide enhanced construction services to make sure the buildings were constructed as designed.
